Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina


A hearty dish. I think Gnocchi might be healthier than pasta? Meh, no matter.

1. boil gnocchi until tender and drain. 
2. heat a can of tomato sauce with 2 cloves minced garlic, fresh chopped basil, oregano, dry parsley and oregano and whatever other herbs or spices you like.
*you can add chopped vegetables, some italian sausage or meatballs too.
3. preheat oven to 350 F. 
4. grease a baking dish, toss pasta and sauce together and top with slices of buffalo mozzarella. 
5. bake for 30-40 mins until cheese is brown and bubbling.

PAIR WITH: a heavy red, try a classic Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon.
