Oh, delicious. A zesty sauce for pasta, meat, or vegetables.
NOTE: vegan: use vegan cheese, and olive oil instead of normal cheese and butter. omit any dairy.
1. chop up tomatoes and roasted red peppers. onions and mushrooms are optional, and lay out some fresh basil as a topping.
2. heat 2 tablespoons butter, add 3 cloves minced garlic, simmer. add 1/4 cup tomato sauce [herb and basil if you like]
3. meanwhile, prepare pasta, chicken, or whatever you're using the sauce with.
4. add vegetables to sauce. salt and pepper to taste.
5. lastly, before serving, add olives and a bit of cream to thicken [or low fat sour cream]
6. serve on chicken, pasta, rice, vegetables, etc. don't forget the basil!
