Thai Papaya & Carrot Salad with Shrimp


A hearty thai salad. 

1. get papaya, peel and shred into thin slices.
2. do the same with carrots.
3. add onions and peppers, optional.
4. cook shrimp if using.
5. toss salad with 1 tablespoon sesame oil, 1 tablespoon lime juice, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce, and red pepper flakes for spice. 
6. top with thai basil, shrimp, and crushed peanuts.
