A lightened up version, plus crispy and baked! Sooooo good.
1. boil noodles, drain.
2. in a saucepan, simmer 2 tablespoons butter with 3 cloves minced garlic. add vegetables or meat at this point.
3. add 2 tablespoons sour cream, 1/4 cup milk, and a bit of corn starch to thicken. season with a bit of lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
4. once thick enough, add 1/4 cup grated parmesan and 1 tablespoon cream cheese.
5. taste sauce, once ready and thick, toss noodles in sauce.
6. lay in a greased baking dish or papered.
7. top with a bit more parmesan, pepper, and crushed saltine crackers.
8. bake for 25-35 minutes at 400 F, until browned.
