A seemingly basic dish, but I make a killer version.
MEATBALLS:
500 grams ground meat [anything from beef, turkey, to lamb]
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
a pinch of salt and pepper
a handful chopped fresh parsley
2 cloves minced garlic
a dash of worecestershire sauce
mix, and form into balls. bake or fry until cooked through. [about 30 minutes baking time, flip halfway through]
SAUCE:
- heat 1 tablespoon olive oil with 2 cloves minced garlic. add in chopped onion, green bell peppers, mushrooms, salt, and pepper.
- add a can of tomato sauce, plain, or simple, like roasted garlic or herb.
- add a dash of red wine, simmer until evaporated.
BOIL PASTA. ADD SAUCE, MEATBALLS, PARMESAN CHEESE, AND SERVE.
