Satay

* NOTE: you can put this on vegetables, meat, or anything. it's just satay sauce. no diet restrictions, as long as you're not deathly allergic to peanuts.

Ingredients for Satay marinade:

1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup rice wine vinegar or white vinegar [first is better]
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter, unsweetened
1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/4 cup lemon or lime juice, more or less.
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
2 cloves minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon cayenne or chili paste/powder
FOR MORE SPICE: more chili.
sesame seeds

NOTES:
you can store this for about a week in a tight container in the fridge.
marinate meat, tofu, or veggies for about an hour or more before cooking, and slather it on!
serve with peanut dip or chili sauce as dip.
