Healthy Pumpkin Cookies with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Icing

Using apple sauce in recipes significantly lowers fat and sugar, and keeps baked goods super moist! These are easy and perfect for fall. These are only 40 Calories each!!!

Ingredients

2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Sugar
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 tsp Ginger
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/8 tsp Salt
1 Cup Pumpkin [pureed]
1/2 Cup Applesauce (unsweetened)
1 tsp Vanilla
NO BUTTER!!

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
 In a large bowl cream together sugar, applesauce, and vanilla. Stir in pumpkin, set aside.
 In another bowl combine flour, baking soda and powder, salt, cinnamon and spices,  stir into creamed mixture and mix well.
 Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. 
Bake for 15-20 mins. 

CINNAMON CREAM CHEESE ICING: 
1 package low fat cream cheese [250 grams]
1/4 cup icing sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon cinnamon
blend. 

Sandwich cookies, you have a cookie sandwich at just 100 calories or so! perfect for fall.
