Low Fat Banana Bread

By substituting a bit of butter for apple sauce, you save on loads of calories, and it gives the bread extra moisture and taste!

you need:

4 very ripe bananas
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
2 tablespoons applesauce

Directions:
1 Mash bananas in a bowl. 2 Add all other ingredients and mix well. 3 Pour into 2 greased loaf pans because it rises a lot.
4 Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean.

A BIT BETTER?

Add semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Make muffins instead!
NUTELLA. swirl some into the batter, once in the pan. decadent, but not over the top.
WALNUTS. add some in, and top with halfway through baking.
LOOK HOW MOIST.
