Creamy Vegetarian Gravy


A delicious vegetarian gravy... for, well, whatever.

1. in a pot, heat 2 tablespoons butter or margarine. add 1 can vegetable broth and 1/2 cup low-fat sour cream or half/half cream. simmer, add 1 tablespoon flour to thicken.
2. now, add chopped green onions and chives. optional: mushrooms, garlic, chives, parsley, nutmeg, mustard seeds,  any other herbs or spices.
3. simmer until thick. taste, adjust salt/ pepper.
